Thank you for your post. Your story really stuck with me. Probably because I am always trying to get in step with something or someone. I'm offbeat and out of time... always. Nobody ever reads this...or comments, if they do...so thank you. Especially, for such a meaningful post. God Bless You My Friend.

P.S. - Do you think there's any significance in the piece of plastic's color?

Well since red can represent passion, anger, or love ... its really hard to tell. I do not really like the color red persay, but often have feelings of all three feelings combined. Dare i say maybe they did have some foreshadowing significance at the time? I don't know

Hey...you are very right. I wish people would value those things as my art...maybe they do? We know each other?
I feel in some ways as if we might, but am sure we musn't be of acquaintance.
How strange for I to kept the plastic out of step piece for some years now, stumble across a website with the phrase, and us be able to draw parallels about our individual representations of those words?
Evening.
It's funny how one, tiny peice of plastic can change somebody's destiny.Have you heard of St. Terese---there's a movie about her u can rent. She was the saint of little things, her nickname was little flower. She wanted to be extraordinary, and she practiced this by doing small little acts of kindness in a big way. At 15, she begged the pope to let her join the convent and died at 19. In a way, there's a parellel b/c your piece of plastic and her, her acts...that tony piece of garbage led you to your kind words about the expense of beauty--which was like a miracle me. God acts in strange ways my friend. Have a good day....j
